The Dirt with Janet & Llew

The Dirt is a talk-back radio program.  We discuss any and all things inviting you, the listener, to call in and participate in our discussions.  You can comment on whatever topic we may be discussing or bring up a new topic that you want to talk about.

We can be serious, often having heated 'debates' amongst ourselves, but we also have a good laugh.

The number to call is         0887 232055

Just a minor warning though... 'No subject is taboo'!

The comments and opinions of the Presenters during the program are entirely their own and in no way represent or reflect the stance of South East Community Access Radio (SECAR) aka 5GTR FM.

New Segment  -  Community Pulse (Wellness Wednesday)  -  Commencing Wednesday 6th June 2018

Each week at 8pm, we will have the knowledge of an expert talking on a wide variety of subjects and taking questions.  Some of the experts with be talking with us via phone and some will be live in the Studio.  When over the phone, the segment will run for 20 minutes.  When live in the Studio, a minimum of 20 minutes.

The Segments will be at 8pm on The Dirt.

Each week we will let you know what the following week's topic will be.  Unfortunately, most of the segments preclude us from taking live to air questions during the program as many of the Guest Speakers we talk to will be via the phone or pre-recorded interviews.   We are asking you to forward any particular questions you may have regarding the upcoming topics to Janet.  Could you please notify Janet by the Sunday prior to the appropriate show.  There are three ways you can contact her:

  • email questions to
  • message on Messenger  -  janet finnis-hare
  • via the 'Contact Us' method of this website and mention either 'janet' or 'The Dirt'

Just be sure to put the health topic and questions in the Topic line.

Keep an eye on this page and an ear on the radio as I will be updating weekly with the upcoming topics.
